This site is dedicated to educating and bringing awareness to the public about the glycemic index and, hopefully, promote healthier lifestyle choices in terms of the food people eat. This site came about as an inspiration from my mother. Ever since she developed diabetes she has been keen on encouraging my brothers and sisters to eat healthy.

The glycemic index food list has so much to offer in relation to stabilizing blood sugar levels and managing the amount of fat stored in the body which is a contributer to the risk of diabetes later in life. In today’s world, there are increases of the average person’s waistline. My goal through this website is to offer suggestions and resources that available to assist people negate the risks of diabetes and obesity.
